THE DALMORE QUINTESSENCE

Richard Paterson has struck again! In this magnificent Quintessence he mixed 5 different types of barrels.

First aged in Bourbon casks, the single malt is then divided into 5 parts before being placed for 5 years in casks that have contained California red wine from 5 different grape varieties: Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Of course, considering the price of this beautiful liquid (1200 € the bottle) it will be a ceremony at the tasting.

Its golden colour shows well its passage into red wine barrels.

On the nose, it first reveals notes of red fruits, citrus fruits and finally honey notes.

Its passage in the mouth, for 30 seconds as we advise it, brings out in turn the tropical fruits, the acidity of the ginger and finally the sugar of the dried grape.

When we finally give it the right to go down our throat and let it come back up again, it's with notes of orange and banana!

What a great moment that becomes even more important when it is realized in the Master's company!
